Delicious Southern Fried Shrimp

Try our new recipe for Southern Fried Shrimp. It will make your food taste as good as it looks!

Ingredients:

1.5 cups of whole milk
1 large egg
1.5 pounds of extra large shrimp
one tablespoon of Mozelle's Savory Seasoning
Half cup of unseasoned plain bread crumbs
half cup of unseasoned Shrimp and fish fry mix
2 quarts of vegetable oil
Deep fryer or a large pot that can be used as a fryer


Directions:
1. Pour 1.5 cups of milk into a medium size mixing bowl
2. Put egg into mixing bowl with milk
3. Blend in the savory seasoning into mixing bowl.
4. Blend the milk, egg and seasoning with a whisk in the mixing bowl.
5. Place the vegetable oil in the deep fryer or the large pot.
Heat the oil to a temperature of 350 degrees.
6. Place the shrimp into the solution in the mixing bowl.
Make sure the shrimp is thoroughly coated with the solution.
7. Place the half cup of plain bread crumbs and the half cup of shrimp
and fish fry mix into a one gallon freezer bag. Shake several times to blend.
8. Take half of the shrimp from the mixing bowl and place
into the freezer bag. Shake several times to thoroughly coat
the shrimp with the breading mix.
9. Place the shrimp into the heated oil.
It should take approximately 2 minutes for the shrimp to
cook to a golden brown color.
10. Remove the shrimp from the fryer and place on a rack
for five minutes before serving.
11. Follow steps 8, 9 and 10 for the remaining shrimp.
