Southern Fish Fry
Ingredients
- 2 lbs of raw fish
- 2 table spoons of Mozelle's Savory Seasoning
- one cup of flour
- 2 quarts of vegetable oil
- Deep fryer or pot that can be used to deep fry
Directions:
- Cut Fish into desired size pieces.
- Place fish on a sheet of aluminum foil.
- Coat one side of the fish with Mozelle's Savory seasoning.
- Flip the fish over and coat the other side.
- Place the two quarts of oil into the deep fryer. Heat the oil to a temperature of 350 degrees.
- Place the cup of flour into a one gallon freezer bag.
- Place the fish into the freezer bag with the flour. Shake several times to thoroughly coat the fish.
- Place the fish into the grease and cook until golden brown.
- Remove the fish from the fryer and place on a rack for five minutes before serving.
